1. New Allocation Period Begins January 1, 2026 with Clean Slate
The first three-year allocation period (April 2023 - December 2025) has concluded, and a new allocation period was discussed that would begin January 1, 2026 if approved by the Board. All agricultural accounts would receive a fresh allocation of 3.3 acre-feet per acre over three years (1.1 acre-feet per acre annually), regardless of previous usage. This clean slate approach applies even as flow meter installation continues across the GSA.
