The Commission voted to increase the Sites Project's conditional funding amount from approximately $1.1 billion to $1.36 billion. This supplemental determination covers inflationary cost increases (66.7% since 2015 baseline) and adds value for a new emergency drought response benefit. No actual funds are disbursed yet—this sets the ceiling for the future final funding award, which Sites indicated could be sought as early as December (under its proposed schedule) if the water rights decision is favorable. Remaining uncommitted WSIP funds would be about $318 million (per staff table shown) if the supplemental amount is added.
