1. RP2026 self-reporting deadlines are approaching The reporting period ends October 31. Self-directed fallowing and cover cropping must be reported through the Groundwater Accounting Platform by the end of November. The GSA planned to open surface-water self-reporting forms, with a December 31 deadline to accommodate later MID and TID bills. Growers must report self-directed fallowing and cover cropping annually because LandIQ field polygons change from year to year; a new tool allows users to select multiple fields at once. MLRP project polygons are still being added, so growers whose project acreage is not reflected correctly should contact the GSA team.
