Basin storage has increased by 139,000 acre-feet since 1995, with an additional 7,000 acre-feet added in the past year alone. Total groundwater extraction (187,900 acre-feet) remains well below the sustainable yield of 235,000 acre-feet, indicating the basin can sustain current pumping levels.
